We spent an afternoon driving through the Chianti Valley and had the great fortune of finding a small family owned vineyard and winery named Il Bacio. The owner and winemaker, Franco and his wife Daniele, welcomed us and took us on a tour of their ancient cellar. Franco walked us through the main steps of his organic wine-making process and invited us into his home to taste his organic wines and other local specialties. They were so generous and welcoming, it was a true Italian experience…not to mention we left with several great bottles of wine!
