Our first stay was at a lovely restored stone barn with an exquisite view on the valley in the town of Barbarino Val d’ Elsa in the heart of the Chianti region. This was our headquarters for exploring the area, eating and drinking the local wines and visiting neighboring vineyards, towns and villages. A special shout out to our wonderful host Stefania.
