From the more sophisticated restaurants like Adhoc to the simple family pizzarias we ate our way through Italy. I was especially atune to all the things we've done to italian cuisine here in America that are not done in Italy. One restaurant had a sign at the door " No chicken on pasta, No fruit on pizza. DON'T EVEN ASK!"
